As a Systems Administrator you will work under the direction of the IT Manager and are responsible for configuration management, access control, security and troubleshooting various issues to enable our artists, creative leads and supervisors to complete their projects.

Job Description

  • We are looking for a Systems Administrator based in our Tampere office to join our growing and resourceful team of film Visual Effects professionals
  • The role will be responsible for the daily maintenance of company IT infrastructure
  • Liaison with the technical team to ensure a smooth production pipeline
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Film / VFX Industry and be part of improving and developing our infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Windows / Linux Systems Administrator (Hardware / Software)
  • Windows domain administration
  • Render farm computer deployment, maintenance & setup (Deadline) 
  • Technical support and general troubleshooting for commercial and custom applications on all platforms
  • Storage administration
  • Install and manages software licenses / license servers
  • Infrastructure maintenance of all Windows / Linux servers
  • Knowledge of Firewall and Switch configuration
  • General I.T. support and maintenance duties
  • Keep a close eye on the resources and requirements of the active shows to ensure no bottlenecks occur

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a system administrator. Should have understanding of the Linux/windows co-environment 
  • Experience managing high-performance network-attached storage environments 
  • Knowledge with Windows application deployment
  • Linux installation and administration experience
  • Above all, a team player with a positive can-do attitude

Nice to have / We also appreciate your

  • Experience with IT Infrastructure Security Frameworks, such as ISO27K
  • Experience with Configuration Management Database’s (CMDB)  
  • Knowledge of Deadline monitoring or render wrangling is an asset
  • Experience with Flow Production Tracking (Shotgrid/Shotgun) software is an asset
